We spent Memorial Day weekend at the ranch. Earlier in the spring, Paul prepared the garden and planted a variety of vegetables and herbs. This weekend, it was time for harvesting.
There were potatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, green beans and bell peppers. Maisy decided to guard the nutritious bounty.
During the harvest, Paul and Andrew found this giant caterpillar. It was as big as Andrew's fingers. We are going to do a little research to see what kind of moth or butterfly it metamorphosizes into.
