The fifth graders at Andrew's school are finishing elementary school in style.
Today, despite the threat of rain, they went on a Duck Boat tour. This bus is an amphibious vehicle that tours around downtown and drives right into the lake for a short boat tour.
When the much needed rain came down, they took a break under the pavilion to have a little lunch.
Fortunately, the rain let up so they could burn a little energy on the playground.
Andrew has found some really great friends at his new school this year. His new found friendships and wonderful teachers have made for a fabulous fifth grade year. Soon he will be off to middle school. (Gulp!)
