Matthew's class visited The French Legation today. It is the oldest building in Austin that is still in its original location. This 171 year old building was built by Jean Pierre Isidore Alphonse Dubois, a French diplomat. We got to see inside the home,
learn all about the historical kitchen,
and walk around the grounds including a couple of mazes made from bushes. It was fun and informative!
