Gingerbread Workshop

Jacob's preschool hosts a Gingerbread Workshop each December to raise funds for special activities.  He was thrilled to attend this special event.

He even chose his Christmas sweater to get into the spirit.
Each child is allowed to go through the gigantic candy bar three times to get decorations for the gingerbread house.
The perfect candy placement is critical and takes careful consideration.
As you can see by the hands on his hips and the grin on his face, he is so proud of his completed gingerbread house.
In fact, when we arrived back home, he made sure his brothers saw his new holiday decoration.  Andrew asked if we could just pretend we were in the fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel," so they could have just a little nibble.  It is tempting, but we are enjoying it with our eyes only.
