Here Come the Pumpkins!

Every year, our church hosts a Pumpkin Patch to raise funds for the youth to go on summer mission trips.  This annual event began when Paul and I were in high school and we helped extensively with it when we were Junior High Youth Sponsors when we were first married, so naturally we felt the need to participate in it now that we are back.

Today was the delivery day for the pumpkins.
Our whole family joined in to help unload more than 2600 pumpkins.
Jacob found some that were easy to handle.
Matthew was great at organizing the rows.
He is a cheerful volunteer!
Andrew spent the entire time at the back of the full 18 wheeler unloading pumpkin after pumpkin.  He worked hard without any complaints.  It was awesome to see him put forth so much effort for a great cause!

Now we are looking forward to going back to pick out our pumpkins and take some pictures.
