Today was a day off from school, so the boys and I volunteered with Little Helping Hands at Operation School Bell. Operation School Bell has clothed more than 50,000 children for school over the last 25 years.
When children come in to receive school clothing, they also take home a grooming kit with toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, a comb, a brush, and shampoo.
Together with about 6 other volunteers, we helped assemble about 300 kits.
Jacob especially liked pushing the cart down the hall to place the grooming kits on the shelves. All three boys gave it their all making a wonderful contribution and having fun at the same time.
