Little Helping Hands - Food Pantry

Today, Jacob, Matthew and I volunteered once again with Little Helping Hands.  As you might have guessed, I think the Little Helping Hands organization is wonderful and I want to take every opportunity to promote it.
We went to a local food pantry and helped the recipients bag their groceries.
This was the first volunteer activity where the boys could actually see the people we were helping.  Matthew just soaked it all in.  In the car on the way home, he was explaining to Jacob that there are some people who depend on the food pantry and how they cannot just go to the grocery store and purchase whatever they want.  Jacob was a cheerful helper, but he is still a little young to be aware of the implications of the activity we participated in tonight.
