Innerspace Caverns

Today, my mom and I took the boys to Innerspace Caverns near Georgetown.
We rode a little train to get down into the cavern.
The formations on the ceiling are called soda straws because they are hollow.  The larger one is called a column.
We went to a depth of about 50 feet underground.
This was the only portion of the cave that people are allowed to touch.  Once a spot has been touched, new formations will not grow.
It is hard to see, but this is a sheet or bacon formation.
We all had a great time and learned a lot.
