Andrew left last Sunday for his first mission trip. The middle schoolers from church travelled to Houston to help people in need. Our youth group partnered with
Center for Student Missions (CSM) to find a variety of activities in which our youth could participate.
The two pics above were tweeted to us. The students all enjoyed refreshment after working with children, cleaning a kitchen, and working at the Houston Food Bank. They worked hard to "Be The Good", as their t-shirts said. I am proud of Andrew's willingness to help others. He was impressed by the whole experience and came home with a better understanding of the challenges that some of our fellow citizens face.
