We started off our last day in Estes Park with a trail ride. This was Jacob's first time to ride a horse alone and despite my fears, he rode his horse, Pina Colada like a champ.
This was one of our favorite activities of our whole trip.
Paul rode Scooter. Matthew was on John, Andrew was on Nacho,
and I brought up the rear with Wally who takes things at his own pace.
Our afternoon excursion was a one mile hike in Rocky Mountain National Park to see Alberta Falls.
Once again, we were not disappointed by the beautiful surroundings.
The falls were amazingly beautiful and loud.
It felt strangely wonderful to need a light jacket in August.
On our drive out, we caught sight of two elk feeding. All in all we had a wonderful time in Estes Park.
