Thanksgiving Break

On Thanksgiving Day, we had a nice meal with my side of the family around lunch time.  It was special to have everyone together.  We don't do that too often, so it was nice to catch up with everyone.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera.

After eating way too much, we headed to the ranch to celebrate with Paul's side of the family for a dinner time meal.  Needless to say, we were stuffed!  Once again though, it was so nice to have all of us together for food and fellowship.

With a few days off of school and work, we decided to stay for the whole extended weekend.
Without much rain lately, the pond has really diminished this year.  The boys decided to see how far out they could walk before their shoes got muddy.  Well, as you can see, a whole lot more than their shoes got muddy.  They had the best time getting grubby and then cleaning off.
Mimi came up with a fantastic project for the grandkids.  They all made cookie or soup or hot chocolate mixes in jars to give as gifts for their teachers.  It was a fun project that serves a wonderful purpose!

This weekend was a fun time to relax and spend time with family.  We truly have so much to be thankful for!
