Today I will....get up earlier than I like.
Today I will....prepare and pack three lunches again.
Today I will....pick up countless little messes left by little hands and feet.
Today I will.....rake the leaves that have flooded our backyard.
Today I will.....see that homework gets done.
Today I will.....play chauffeur to get my boys to after school activities.
Today I will....remember to have joy in doing these mundane tasks.
Today I will....remember to be grateful that I am fortunate enough to have a home to clean and boys to care for along with a husband who cares for and provides for all of us.
Today I will....pray for my boys and thank God for the wonderful gifts they are because the days and weeks and years are flying by so very, very quickly that, before I know it, I won't have lunches to make or homework to oversee, but I will still be thankful for chance to mother these boys.
