Andrew's most recent gymnastics competition was the Metroplex Invitational in Fort Worth.
We started things off last night by watching an NCAA men's competition. It was thrilling to see the guys fly so high in the air and as an added bonus, my beloved Texas Aggies were there in the competition, so I got to cheer them on too!
Andrew's competition went well today. The Metroplex Invitational is a very large meet with 8 different competitions taking place at the same time in a large open convention center. Despite all of the distractions, Andrew maintained his focus and he placed in every event.
11th on Floor Exercise
3rd on Pommel Horse
14th on Rings
1st on Vault
7th on Parallel Bars
6th on High Bar
and 5th All Around
All of the boys did really well! Congratulations guys!
After working up a big appetite, so he ordered a giant plate of pancakes for dinner.
