Today was Meet the Teacher Day for Jacob. We went to his classroom and met Ms. Jacqueline and Ms. Laura, his teachers for this school year. He acted a little shy at first, but then remembered the fish tank he had seen on his first visit to the school. After that, he made himself at home.
He began by building this tower in the blocks center while I discussed details of the class with Ms. Jacqueline.
He called me over to take his picture and then struck a pose.
He ended up in the home center making eggs and soup for us to eat.
Finally, we headed outside to meet a few other students and to check out the playground.
We found out that there will be eight boys and four girls in his class. Oh man, do I feel sorry for the teachers. I think Jacob counts as at least two boys all by himself. No, seriously, Jacob seems right at home. I think he will have a great school year!
