We went to "Meet the Teacher Night" so Andrew and Matthew could see their classrooms, find out where their desks will be and obviously, meet their teachers.
Matthew was excited to see a few familiar faces in his class. His teacher is really strong in math and science, two areas that particularly interest Matthew, so I feel confident that he will have a super year in second grade!
Matthew's class has a pet hamster named Coconut. We heard that she will be coming to visit at our house one weekend this school year. That is the kind of hamster I like...one that just visits and then goes back home.
Andrew found his desk and put his supplies in there. He has everything ready to go for fourth grade. How is it possible that he could be in fourth grade already?!?
