Shark Boy

Matthew was out of school on Friday so I decided that it would be fun to have some time with just the two of us while Andrew was in school and Jacob was at the babysitter. We decided to go to the local science museum.

We saw some dinosaur bones.

There was an exhibit on "Critter Cams" that are placed on ocean animals to learn more about how they live.

There were some giant geodes and other cool rocks. Matthew has been building his rock collection.

He was particularly interested in the skull collection. He has been amassing quite a bone collection at the Crazy 8 Ranch. One of his favorite things there is to go on a bone hunt. This is the skull of an orca whale.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Matthew has been anxiously waiting for his teeth to fall out and for his permanent ones to grow in. Well, his permanent teeth have come in, but his baby teeth are still there. So now that he has two rows of teeth, we have been calling him Shark Boy.

It isn't very often that it is just the two of us. We had a great time together and we saw many fun things!
