Today Jacob and I went with the second graders to the zoo. We had a great time seeing the many different animals. The weather was perfect, not so hot, so the animals were out and about.
There was an albino alligator.
In case you were wondering, Andrew's wing span is 4 feet.
We got to see the zoo keepers feed the tiger.
The zoo has a new baby giraffe. He is really cute. His name is Miles. He is about one month old. We weren't able to get a good picture of him.
We watched the bull elephant get a bath. He is 43 years old and used to be in the circus in Taiwan. He has been at the zoo for about 20 years. This was Jacob's first time to visit the zoo. He was mesmerized by the elephants and the lions. All the way home in the car he was roaring like a lion. So cute!
