Each year at the end of the school year, the gymnastics classes have a Gymkhana to perform routines for the parents to show what they have learned all year. Because the children each perform and then receive a trophy, the classes take longer. Unfortunately, I forgot about this, so Jacob arrived at his normal class time which was 45 minutes late. He missed the performance, but got there in time to receive his trophy. He was not as upset as I was.
Luckily for me, the coaches offered for Jacob to come in today and go through his routines for me and they even allowed me on the gym floor to take pictures up close.
He showed off his swings and hangs on the parallel bars,
cartwheels and candlesticks on the floor,
and tucks and straddle jumps on the trampoline.
It was awesome to see his skills!
Thanks to the coaches, not all was lost!
