Matthew is 10!

In honor of Matthew's 10th birthday, I have thought of 10 things I would like to tell you about Matthew:

1.  He is my son that is always willing to help, even when the activity is boring.

2.  He loves to cook.

3.  He is a voracious reader. (Hmmm...I wonder where he got that?!?)

4.  Math comes so easily to him.  He has the digits of the number Pi memorized further than I can ever even think of knowing.

5. He loves hunting and fishing.  (I don't wonder where he got that.)

6.  He is energetic and excited about life.

7.  Matthew is caring and compassionate.

8.  He loves to swim and is ALWAYS the last one out of the pool.  

9.  He has embraced his role as catcher for his baseball team and takes his job very seriously.

10.  Matthew spends a lot of time trying to figure out how and why things work. Maybe he is a future engineer?

We are so thankful for Matthew!  It is difficult to believe that he is already 10.
