Today was a day of excursions. Paul and Andrew went scuba diving while Cathy, Beth, Alli and Megan all went horseback riding this morning.
Kay, Tom, Matthew, Jacob and I all went in a submarine. There was a larger boat that took us out to the dive site.
We were able to watch the sub surface as it returned from its prior trip.
The boys were pretty excited as we began to descend.
We saw plenty of fish, a white mouthed moray eel, and starfish among other creatures. Due to the decreased light underwater, the colors do not show up.
We also saw a few scuba divers as we travelled past a sunken ship.
Our maximum depth was recorded on a read out inside the sub. It was a new and different experience for us all.
We finished up the day back at the beach where Jacob decided to join in on the boogie boarding this time,
and the adult guys decided to have a little competition.
