An Abundance of Gingerbread

Usually my boys are all "snips and snails", but today they had a lot of sugar mixed with a little spice.  

 My friend Michelle had her annual gingerbread house decorating party.  

All three boys approached the decorating with different techniques. The different techniques are related to their ages.  Andrew was all about working carefully and making patterns.  

Matthew wanted to cover as much space as possible on his house and Jacob was mostly interested in sampling the decorations.

Jacob's school also had a gingerbread house party a couple of hours later.  

He loaded up on candy, and got busy decorating. 

 He didn't eat as much candy the second round.  It's hard to believe, but I think he had finally reached his candy threshold.
