It was game day in Aggieland, and we were thrilled to be there!
We decided to get to town pretty early so we could do a little tour of the campus. Truth be told, I was also hoping to get a Christmas card pic too. I like to think of it as multi-tasking. The boys consider it to be a form of torture.
Our first stop was at the George Bush Library. We didn't head inside. Andrew just wanted to see the statue that contains part of the Berlin wall pictured above.
Kyle Field: Home of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Football Team!
We stopped by the Alumni Center. Matthew and Andrew started training to be Yell Leaders.
The Administration Building
The Bonfire Memorial
This is the shot that made the cut for the Christmas card. It is under a gigantic oak tree known as the Century Oak. Many an Aggie has proposed under this historic tree.
After hiking all around campus, we went to the pre-game festivities for a little fun.
The game gave the boys another look at the many traditions of Texas A&M.
The band was spectacular as usual.
After hiking miles around campus and smiling for "a million" photos, Jacob gave up. He spent three quarters of the game asleep in our arms.
We had a fantastic family day that was made even better by a Fightin' Aggie win!
