Last night, we had our first fire in our fireplace. Not just the first fire of the season, I mean our first fire EVER in this fireplace.
Last year, we just never got around to getting the fireplace grate and tools, and our winter wasn't all that cold, so we never bothered. It was also our first REAL fire ever. Our old house just had faux wood logs with a gas flame. This house has the a real wood burning fireplace. It was so cozy that I can see lots of fire building in Paul's future.
