Change and moving on to new things can be stressful for us all. Towards the end of summer, Andrew was really worried about transitioning to middle school. Changing classes, meeting so many new people and the stress of worrying about forgetting something were weighing on his mind. Well, he has risen to the occasion and thrived.
He loves his new school and was voted to be student of the month by his team of academic teachers. His award states, "Andrew exhibits great leadership qualities in the classroom. He is very polite and excels academically."
Paul and I attended the awards presentation this morning. We are delighted that he has received this honor and we love to hear about his academic achievements, but for him to be honored for politeness as well, is something that puts a smile on our faces and warms our hearts.
Congratulations, Andrew!
