in 2007, Jacob was born!
Turning five is a really big deal!
After a special trip to the donut shop for breakfast, we had a mommy and son date to go bowling.
Then we headed over to have lunch with Nana.
Jacob wanted to be the one who mixed the cake batter for his birthday cake.
Celebrating like this takes lots of energy, so he took a little cat nap to fuel up for the finale.
He got to choose the restaurant,
open a couple of presents,
and blow out his candle.
My, how time flies! Jacob is full of energy and doesn't miss a beat. He is generous with hugs and has never met a stranger. He is the perfect finale for our family and I am so proud to be his mom!
