We set off on an adventure today. We are headed to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore and a few other sights.
We left at about 6:00 this morning and our first stop was Round Rock Donuts to fuel up three sleepy boys.
As you know, everything is big in Texas. Round Rock Donuts keeps that alive by selling their "Texas Donut." You can compare it to a regular donut in the picture, but no, we did not buy one.
This is how Paul spent his day. He wouldn't let me drive. He gets too bored and carsick if he reads.
We knew we would be eating out tonight, so we grabbed quick sandwiches on the road and pressed on to Colby, Kansas for the night.
Tomorrow we are headed to Custer, South Dakota for a couple of days.
