Today is Andrew's 8th birthday! I know it sounds so cliche, but it is hard to believe that this is where we were eight years ago today:
November 13, 2000
Andrew woke up this morning to cinnamon rolls that Paul made. Then he opened a few presents and headed off to school. At lunch time, I took rice krispie treats up for him to share with his classmates. He said he preferred those to cupcakes.
Usually, on their birthdays, we let the boys pick a restaurant where they would like to go to dinner, but Andrew asked if we could go see High School Musical 3 at the movie theater instead. He has been anxiously awaiting its release for months.
When we walked into the theater, we found out that we were the only ones there. I had to take a picture.
Both boys really enjoyed the movie. They were practically dancing when we left the theater.
