Today we had a "Mad Science" birthday party for Andrew. Atomic Alec, the mad scientist, came and Andrew got to be his assistant.
They did some cool experiments and a dry ice demonstration. One of the experiments consisted of having the kids direct Atomic Alec in what facial features they would like to see on a styrofoam head. Then he poured acetone over it. The head melted and they all thought is was so cool, especially the boys. It was great having everyone participate in the different activities.
Everyone got to make a cup full of slime to take home and they all signed a poster for Andrew to have as a keepsake.
We ended the party with cookie cake and ice cream followed by some outside play. Andrew especially enjoyed sharing the time with his friends. It was a great party!
