Christmas Eve Excitement

As is our annual tradition, we all gathered at Paul's parent's house for a well prepared Christmas Eve feast.  The tables were beautifully set and the food was delicious.  We enjoyed turkey, stuffing, potatoes, veggies, fruit, bread and the all important jello jigglers that the children have come to expect.   We followed the meal with a wonderful assortment of pies, cookies and a cake. Most importantly, we were able to gather with friends and family for fun and fellowship.
Matthew and Megan were in charge of tracking Santa.
Ben and Andrew were feeling festive.
Before bed, Matthew made sure to leave a few treats for Santa and the reindeer.  We were short on carrots, so he decided to leave an apple for the reindeer.  Not one to mince words, his note was short and to the point.  It says, "Apples are for the reindeer.  Cookies and milk are for Santa."  I know Santa appreciates the gesture.
