Santa came through for the boys this year.
Matthew received the Nerf gun he had been hoping for. It is bigger than he is, but that doesn't seem to phase him. Hopefully he will grow into it soon.
Jacob received the helicopter he asked for.
Andrew wasn't too sure about it at first, but it turned out he was thrilled with the Apple Store gift card that Santa brought to supplement the purchase of an iTouch.
We also got a new bike for Jacob. It is just his size and he quickly proved that he was ready and willing to demonstrate his cycling skills.
Not too long after we opened our gifts, Paul's brothers and the rest of the family came over to exchange gifts and eat breakfast. Then we headed over to my parents for round two.
This was only our second time to see Sophie in person. She has grown so much since we have last seen her. Once again, everyone wanted a turn to hold her.
After more stockings and presents, we had a yummy lunch with my whole family.
Other than a pesky little 24 hour stomach bug that showed up late Christmas Day, we all had a wonderful Christmas filled with many blessings!
