As I mentioned, we were in San Antonio this weekend. Did you know that 4th graders in Texas study Texas history? With a new 4th grader in our house, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to take the boys to see the Alamo.
We learned several interesting facts, observed the artifacts,
and walked throughout what remains of the Alamo, formerly known as Mission San Antonio de Valero.
The boys learned a lot about this famous landmark, and Paul and I were reminded of the many facts that have "somehow" left our brains in the time since grade school.
