Our local children's museum is in the process of moving locations. They have built a beautiful new facility and let the children who volunteered 12 or more times with Little Helping Hands come in and have a sneak peek of a few of their exhibits.
There were opportunities to build with a variety of materials.
The light room had several cool ways to experiment with light
including a giant Lite Brite on one wall.
Jacob explored physics by building an airplane and launching it to see how far it could fly.
The water music station was a big hit. Dripping water causes drum beats. There is a water flute and more.
Andrew painted on the clear wall
and Jacob made a wax sculpture.
Despite their age differences, both boys had a fabulous time exploring. We can't wait to go back to see what other interesting things they add after they are fully up and running. Matthew and Paul went hunting this weekend, so they missed out on the fun, but we are excited to show it all to them next time.
