Jacob and I volunteered with Little Helping Hands at one of our local soup kitchens today.
He donned plastic gloves to make ham and cheese sandwiches,
and then made lots of sticky lemonade.
Most importantly, he learned more about helping others and how fortunate we really are to know we don't have to worry about where our next meal is coming from.
