I was thrilled to receive a wonderful surprise today. My college roommate, Angie texted me at the last minute to let me know that she was in town. She lives in Virginia now and I haven't seen her in about 5 years. She was taking her kids to tour the state capitol.
I joined them for the tour and a great visit. This is the capitol dome from the inside.

I loved seeing Angie. It felt like we picked up where we left off. I can't let that much time pass between visits again.
