Andrew competed in the Bryan Invitational Meet today. He learned a hard lesson about poor sportsmanship when one of his teammates was talking trash during the meet. It was tough on Andrew and his whole demeanor changed and effected his performance. He now knows that he has to work at not letting others determine the his performance. Winning the mind game is tough though!
Despite the emotional meet, Andrew still placed 2nd on Pommel Horse,
8th on Rings,
1st on Vault,
2nd on High Bars and
6th All Around!
Andrew has the State meet in about a month and if he qualifies there, he will have the Region 3 Men's Championships in Norman, Oklahoma in April.
