Ooops! I Did It AGAIN!

I hate to even admit this, but have terrible luck with cameras.  Last year at the end of our bathroom remodeling project, I was taking "after" pictures and dropped the camera on the tile.  Needless to say, it was damaged beyond repair.  I purchased a new one and we headed into summer.  Then on our trip to Dutch Wonderland, I was taking pictures and one of the boys knocked the camera from my hand.  Again, it was beyond repair.  Again, I purchased a new camera.

I was doing pretty well keeping that one safe, but then it was stolen from Paul's car.  So, I bought a new one with the insurance money.  Now, darn if I didn't do it again!  I broke another camera on a trip while Andrew was at gymnastics camp.  

I was holding Jacob's hand while we were walking across a stream at the top of a water fall.  I NEVER should have been holding the camera.  Jacob started to slip first and then I went down.  The water was freezing and to add insult to injury, the camera was in my other hand.  It was completely submerged and the open lens hit a rock and is jammed open permanently.

I knew better than to be in that situation and I am so frustrated with myself!  I really wanted to post the pics I took from our trip to Pennsylvania and Maryland.  Hopefully I can sometime soon.
