This morning, I got to go to downtown Houston to be a part of the live studio audience for the morning show, "Great Day Houston." Our Junior League President, Jenni, spoke to invite the public to attend our 8th Annual Holiday Market and the rest of us went with her for fun and moral support.
It was really interesting to see all of the behind the scenes happenings. We also served as the audience for another show that will air the day before Thanksgiving. They went ahead to tape that one so the staff can have time off for the holiday. We got to sample some yummy cheesecake and bring home a few little giveaways too. Those of you from Austin might recognize the host of the show, Deborah Duncan from Channel 24 news many years ago.
