Matthew has had a stomach bug for the last three days. Despite our best efforts, he ended up dehydrated. So, I decided to take him to the minor emergency clinic this morning.
He was so brave. He didn't shed one tear and they even had to stick him three times to get a vein. The nurses were amazed. He really perked up after the I.V. and a little Zofran to help with the nausea. I think he is just grateful to feel a little better. He wants to get back to school next week for all of the fun end of school activities.
