The weekend after Christmas we decided to go to the Crazy 8 Ranch for a little R&R (and hunting depending on who you are). After the busy-ness of Christmas, it was nice to have no schedule to follow.

The kids all painted tree themed plates that Mimi will take to be fired.

If you are wondering where the name "Crazy 8" came from...there are 8 grandkids on that side of the family and they have a game they play called the "Crazy Parade." Simply stated, when they are at Mimi and G-daddy's house, they dress up in a variety of crazy, mixed up costumes and parade around the house yelling "CRAZY PARADE! CRAZY PARADE!" Thus the name was born.

For Christmas, we all pitched in and had a sign made for the ranch. It depicts each of the eight grandkids with the correct genders and ages. It now hangs at the ranch.
