Andrew, his two grandmothers and I travelled to Springfield, Missouri so he could compete against boys from six states in the Region 3 Men's Gymnastics Championships. After mechanical difficulties on two flights that postponed our travel for two hours and 45 minutes, and a lot of stressing on my part, we were fortunate to arrive in time to let Andrew relax and get dinner before competition time.
He had his best overall meet of the season beating his previous highest All Around score by more than half a point.
He tied for 5th on the High Bar.
He placed 8th on Floor Exercise and
was 8th in the All Around competition!
