When we arrived at the family reunion on Saturday, I realized that we were missing one of Andrew's shoes. It turns out that it fell out of the car in Goldthwaite, Texas when we stopped along the way. On the way home, we decided to give it a shot and just check the parking lot of the little store we had stopped at the day before. Lo and behold! Someone had found it in the parking lot and put it up on the sidewalk next to the store! I was so thrilled.
So, if you have ever wondered why or how there is one shoe just on the side of the road or in a parking lot, now you know how these things happen. Fortunately, thanks to a good samaritan, our shoe story has a happy ending!
