All summer long, the boys have been begging us to take them to the beach. With school starting next week, we knew it was time to make the trip before the summer is history.

We rode the ferry across to Port Aransas. There wasn't really time to get out of the car and look around because it is such a short ferry ride, but they all loved watching the other ferries and the water. The excitement was building as we were one step closer to being to the beach!

At first, Jacob wasn't so sure about the waves.

Soon he was splashing around with his big brothers.

Jacob had fun burying Andrew in the sand.

Then he had to bury Matthew.

He wasn't interested in being buried himself, but he loved getting his toes in the sand.

Saturday afternoon we all went to the Texas State Aquarium.

We all had a great time seeing the rays, sharks, fish, turtles and otters.

The boys saw this giant shark outside a souvenir shop. They really wanted to stop and go inside the shark.

Matthew wore himself out having such a good time.
It was wonderful to see the boys having so much fun!
